Anger Management
Anger often gets a bad reputation, but it’s a perfectly normal emotion. The problem isn’t the anger itself. It’s what happens when it feels out of control, or when it starts damaging your relationships, your work, or the way you feel about yourself.

When anger becomes a problem
You might find yourself snapping at the people you love, feeling a constant irritability simmering beneath the surface, or having outbursts that leave you feeling ashamed afterwards. Perhaps you’ve been told you have a temper, or maybe your anger turns inward, becoming self-criticism or self-destructive behaviour.
Anger is often a surface emotion. Underneath it, there might be hurt, frustration, fear, or a feeling of powerlessness. When we only deal with the anger on the surface, we miss what’s really driving it.
How therapy can help
I won’t judge you for your anger. In our sessions, we can explore what’s underneath it. The feelings, experiences, and triggers that set it off. Understanding where your anger comes from is the first step towards relating to it differently.
Therapy isn’t about suppressing your emotions. It’s about understanding them well enough that you can respond to life’s frustrations in a way that feels more in your control.
